The weekly Dust tea auctions of Coonoor Tea Trade Association which are typically held on Fridays will be held on Saturday this week due to the fact the market was shut on Friday for Ramalan / Ramadan pageant.

Homedale Estate’s Crimson Dust quality, auctioned by World wide Tea Brokers, topped the CTC auctions when GLT Enterprises purchased it for ₹270 a kg. Amid other CTC teas, Pinewood Estate obtained ₹261, Crosshill Estate Exclusive ₹256 and Vigneshwar Estate ₹206.
