Balkan Countries Thought They Had Beaten Back Coronavirus. Now Infections Are Rampant.

Coronavirus infections are surging in southeastern Europe and some other locations that experienced originally managed to suppress the pandemic, with some governments experiencing protests as they restore confinement actions.

On Tuesday, thousands of protesters tried to storm the Serbian parliament right after the government reported the state would go into lockdown all over again this weekend. Considering the fact that then, protests have multiplied throughout Serbia, prompting authorities to concentrate on community actions instead.
